Kingdom of the Snow Queen
We’re launching the largest expansion to Winterfest ever. The NEW 30,000 square-foot Kingdom of the Snow Queen is a fully immersive, indoor journey that will transport your family through a wintry kingdom of ice and snow. There’s only one word to describe it – EPIC.
Nightly Entertainment
Winterfest features nearly 300 live entertainment performances over the holiday season, including award-winning magicians, jugglers, and aerialists. In the Kingdom of the Snow Queen, you’ll also encounter new friends including a talking polar bear, a wise snow owl, and the Snow Queen herself!
WinterFest RiverWalk
Downtown Norfolk’s iconic riverfront will feel more festive than ever with this all-new holiday strolling experience! Free and open to the public, WinterFest RiverWalk extends from the Pagoda, past Nauticus, and throughout Town Point Park. Join us where the sparkle of the season meets the serenity of the river.

Set sail on a magical adventure through frozen seas, fairy villages and enchanted forests – the Kingdom of the Snow Queen is a massive, new, indoor experience unlike any other. Be part of this epic story and discover life-sized nutcrackers, a talking polar bear, an enormous train display, more than one hundred Christmas trees, and the Snow Queen herself – sitting high atop an ice throne. Best of all, this brand-new journey is included with your regular Winterfest admission!
